Here are some bugs one meets on the hike: Top left a small, colorful and harmless leaf beetle; top right a stinging horse fly, smack it asap;
bottom left the blood suckers, treat them to DEET; bottom right small flies which buzz around your face during the hike, hopeless to get rid of them.
They do not bite but get into your nose or mouth. Hard to get a sharp picture since they are allways in motion unless sitting on something smelly.
